posted by David Scott De Hilster

College Park, Maryland - We want to thank everyone involved with the 18th Annual Natural Philosophy Alliance conference in Maryland this year as one of the most successful, if not the most successful NPA conference to date. Number wise, we more than doubled our record attendance last year with almost 200 live attendees and almost 70 absentia authors.    more...

18th Natural Philosophy Alliance Conference
2011-03-09
posted by Greg Volk

College Park, Maryland - Without doubt, the NPA-17 conference held last June in Long Beach, California set new and higher standards for the NPA, in the quantity and quality of papers submitted and presented, in the breadth of topics discussed, in attendance, particularly of NPA newcomers, in acknowledgement of great work by independent scientists through the NPA's Sagnac Award, and in the success of its first ever Public Day. Thus, though it will be bold to claim that NPA-18 will surpass NPA-17 on every front, we unabashedly declare that it will. Whether or not you attended NPA-17, you won't want to miss NPA-18 at the University of Maryland, College Park this July 6-9. Thanks not only to the growth of the NPA through the World Science Database, but also due to cooperation with people interested in the electric universe paradigm, attendance should more than double in 2011, approaching 200 attendees. More people will hear your presentations than ever before.

Long Beach, California - With the holiday season behind us, I'm certain you all now sit around twiddling your thumbs, wondering just how to occupy all your newly found spare time.  NOT!  Seriously, though we all have plenty to do, it's time to set aside a few hours to prepare for what promises to be the NPA's most ambitious conference ever this June at Cal State Long Beach, California.  Along with the usual week long stream of thought-provoking presentations and camaraderie, there will be several exciting additions to this year's gathering, intended to maximize the sharing of knowledge and expand the NPA's influence in the larger scientific community.    more...
