18th Natural Philosophy Alliance Conference 2011-03-09
posted by Greg Volk
College Park, Maryland - Without doubt, the NPA-17 conference held last June in Long Beach, California set new and higher standards for the NPA, in the quantity and quality of papers submitted and presented, in the breadth of topics discussed, in attendance, particularly of NPA newcomers, in acknowledgement of great work by independent scientists through the NPA's Sagnac Award, and in the success of its first ever Public Day. Thus, though it will be bold to claim that NPA-18 will surpass NPA-17 on every front, we unabashedly declare that it will. Whether or not you attended NPA-17, you won't want to miss NPA-18 at the University of Maryland, College Park this July 6-9. Thanks not only to the growth of the NPA through the World Science Database, but also due to cooperation with people interested in the electric universe paradigm, attendance should more than double in 2011, approaching 200 attendees. More people will hear your presentations than ever before.

posted by David Scott de Hilster
Long Beach, California - With the
holiday season behind us, I'm certain you all now sit around twiddling
your thumbs, wondering just how to occupy all your newly found spare
time. NOT! Seriously, though we all have plenty to do, it's time to
set aside a few hours to prepare for what promises to be the NPA's most
ambitious conference ever this June at Cal State Long Beach,
California. Along with the usual week long stream of thought-provoking
presentations and camaraderie, there will be several exciting additions
to this year's gathering, intended to maximize the sharing of knowledge
and expand the NPA's influence in the larger scientific community.

Scientist Bob Heaston Passes Away 2009-02-20 19:30:00
posted by David Scott de Hilster
Oak Brook, IL - To my beloved family and friends, It is with great sadness that I let you all know that at 7:05 p.m. CST tonight, my dad lost his war against pulmonary fibrosis. It was my desire to capture something directly from him that I could post to all of you who have faithfully and diligently tracked my dad's progress. Until the end, we would read the many messages of hope and encouragement and love that permiated from every one of you. It is my plan to post all of the service and funeral arrangements here. We have a block of rooms at a hotel set up to house everyone, and as soon as I can focus, I will get that information posted here (now on the above webste).
